Another Red Mountain Friday

On this Friday the 13th, my main objective was to pick up our September wine shipment at Frichette Winery on Red Mountain.  In addition, while I was up there, maybe I would visit my other friends as well at Fidelitas and Col Solare.   So that’s exactly what I did.  The tasting at Frichette was really nice.  Firen and Kathy treated me like royalty, and the 2017 Petit Verdot was freaking amazing!!!  Our shipment included a bottle of the 2017 Red Path Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and a bottle of the 2017 Quintessence Vineyard Petit Verdot.  What a great way to start my weekend!

After a quick visit to Fidelitas to coordinate a BBQ with Bryce Appleby, I headed up to Col Solare.  This is my place to relax, find solace and taste the wines I love so much.  Of course, Friday’s at Col Solare have become a tradition for Aaronswinechronicles.com.  On Fridays, I’m almost expected to visit the wine palace atop Red Mountain!  I was provided tastes of the 2016 Shining Hill, 2014  and 2015 Col Solare Cabernet Sauvignons, and the 2016 Tenuta!  As I knew would be the case, every single drop of wine I tasted was simply delicious.  On this day, I ended up buying the 2016 Shining Hill and the 2016 Tenuta.  Today was more than just another Red Mountain Friday!  Cheers!!!
