So I’m at home relaxing on a Thursday evening (March 7th) and my wife suggests we open a bottle to share. I contemplate her request for nearly 50 nanoseconds before agreeing and heading to the cellar. I originally opened a 2013 Tertulia Cellars GSM known as the “Great Schism Reserve” from the Riviere Galets Estate Vineyard….but much to my dismay, the bottle was corked! This rarely happens to me, but in this case I was not happy. I was so looking forward to a Tertulia wine that I ended up finding a 2012 Reserve GSM from this fantastic winery and instead enjoyed this baby! Check out my attempt at some slo-mo aeration!
